Bio: Ron Jones, Ph.D., became the 12th president of Memphis College of Art in May 2011. An accomplished administrator and educator, Jones was previously Dean of the College of The Arts of the University of South Florida for 12 years. He earned a PhD in Aesthetics Education from the University of Maryland, his Master's from Arizona State University, and a BA in Art and English from Concord University in West Virginia. He is currently a member of the Arts Education Council of Americans for the Arts.
