Bio: KJ is founder/CEO of American Records (www.amrec.us) a company devoted to chronicling our time. As playwright, she’s been produced at Asolo Rep, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Two River Theater, Baltimore’s CENTERSTAGE, Round House, Cornerstone and Off-Broadway at Urban Stages. She’s directed plays by Dan Dietz, Kyle Schmidt, Heather Raffo, Quiara Hudes, and Kristoffer Diaz. As an actress she’s been on stages at The Humana Festival, The Goodman, Berkely Rep, Long Warf, NYTW and BAM. She’s producer/director/co-author of ReEntry, based on interviews with Marines returning from combat, which has run at many theaters and over 30 military bases and hospitals internationally. KJ and American Records Associate Artists are currently interviewing professional football players for the NFL Project and will soon be working with Cincinnati Playhouse collecting stories about legendary King Records.
