Bio: Kelly recently graduated from UC Berkeley, Phi Beta Kappa, with a major in Political Science. At UC Berkeley she served as an elected student government official, and helped to initiate an arts education program in Bay Area elementary schools. During her senior year she was awarded the John Gardner Public Service Fellowship, which funds a postgraduate, ten-month placement at a public service organization. Kelly chose to complete her fellowship at Americans for the Arts, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. In her current role as a Government Affairs Fellow, Kelly assists the Government and Public Affairs Department in deepening grassroots advocacy networks throughout the country.
