PRESERVATION AWARNESS AND ACTIONS OF THE ARTS

The American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and its Foundation envision a world that values the preservation of artistic and cultural materials and views the conservation profession as indispensable to increasing knowledge, preventing damage, and ensuring the longevity of our shared cultural heritage for future generations. This Green Paper outlines their vision for the future, presents challenges to achieving that vision, and opportunities for overcoming those challenges.
